Sleeps four, sand at door. This one bedroom condo
is ground level on the sand in Indian Rocks Beach.
It is seven miles south of Clearwater Beach and
seven miles north of Madeira Beach.
It is cute,clean and cozy. The "Sand Shack" has all
of the amenities, plus little notes from Ann telling you
where everything is. There are also files of maps,
restaurants and area attractions. You won't really
need them because it's difficult to leave the beach.
The rules are simple; you must eat grouper (a
delicious local fish)and leave a picture for the guest
book. Every fall someone from the picture album
gets a free week.
There is a small library of books that you should
have read, some paper backs that you may take with
you and even some weekend cookbooks.
There is also a new computer with a high speed
Internet connection.
If you love the beach and the dolphins,turtles, birds
and sunsets, this place puts you in the middle of it
all. The Sand Shack is not just a place. It's an
attitude.

However if you are looking for private, quaint, cozy, nice, comfortable and clean the Shack on the Sand is for you. Steps from the waters edge. Snuggled in a relaxing setting. Everything you need all you bring is your suitcase.All the comforts of home plus a breathtaking view.The sunsets were so romantic. If you like seafood across the street is Crabby Bills or the best subs we've had at Jake's Sub Shop just to name a few.Ann Wilson (owner) is a special person you meet once in a lifetime. Very friendly, caring and trusting.This was of first of many visits to come.Pack your bags and call Ann today you deserve it. The kitchen had all that we needed. Towels were plentiful. She even provides beach towels and a variety of chairs and mats to use on the beach. This unit is perfect for a handicapped individual. It is outstandingly well equipped, fabulously clean and has a tranquil and welcoming air. Although we didn't find the famous Crabby Bill's to our taste, we loved the nearby Guppys Restaurant - this is the place to enjoy wonderful food and relaxed staff and surroundings. The Shack has a local CVS store for quick daily needs, and the Sunshine Trolley gives easy access right along the coast from Clearwater and right down south. Make time to take a trip on Little Toot from Clearwater - they will find the dolphins for you. If you come from England, you need have no worries about booking the 'Shack', as a shack it certainly isn't! We'll definitely be back - hopefully many more times. Delicious seafood is a one minute walk away at Crabby Bills. We brought take out back to the condo so we could stay in our suits and get right back to the beach. We got the most beautiful shells every morning and saw lots of sea life, including dolphins. The condo is sparkling clean and very homey. We can't wait to go back next year! I have been to this condo three times. It is a cozy, comfortable place that suits my needs, exactly. I was able to find the peace and quiet I needed. No stress, no demands.
