Vacation Rental Home Description
Sea Otter Cottage is on 13th Avenue, just four blocks from Yacht Harbor and less than two blocks from Twin lakes State beach. The Santa Cruz beach and its famous boardwalk amusement park also are just down the road, and the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf, the largest working wharf on the West Coast, is close by as well.
The cottage accommodates up to four guests with two bedrooms, one bath, fully equipped kitchen and pantry, dining room and table with seating for six, and a living room with two couches, stereo with CD player, and 31-inch television with VCR and cable access.
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen-sized bed, dresser, end table, and writing desk. The room also comes with a TV/VCR combo and its doors open to a beautifully landscaped and fenced-in backyard. The other bedroom has two twin beds and is also located in the back of the house with a window view of the backyard.
The private backyard contains a stone patio with lounge furniture and gas grill. There's also an open-air front porch that sits right next to an oft-visited bird bath. Other amenities include a laundry room with washer and dryer, a digital safe for valuables, a driveway and carport for two-car parking, and a backyard storage shed for bikes and surfboards.
Nearby Twin lakes State beach, with its location at the entrance of Schwann Lagoon, gives way to the warmest waters around and the Santa Cruz's Yacht Harbor offers sailing, boating, fishing, restaurants and shops as well as a great beach.
As for the Santa Cruz beach Boardwalk, it might be best described as a Coney Island with a sunny California flair. The boardwalk also is home to Cocoanut Grove, an historic special events venue that hosts everything from weddings to conventions to rock concerts. The nearby Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf is located on the pristine Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary. It offers spectacular views, fresh sea breezes, fine dining, unique shopping, abundant fishing, whale watching, up-close looks at sea lions, and an assortment of scenic cruises. Where ever you wish to go or do in the Santa Cruz Area, Sea Otter Cottage is centrally convenient to all entertainment locations.
