We cater to families. This attractively furnished, 1500 square foot, oceanfront, vacation condo has a designer kitchen and baths, with a covered patio overlooking the sand and a gorgeous view. Pets are not allowed, no smoking.

The condo comes equipped with everything you could possibly need. In addition, there are beach towels, boogie boards, sand toys, barbecue, board games, books to read, a Thomas Brothers map of San Diego County, and several books with day hikes or trip ideas in San Diego. Nearby you will find great hiking through state parks and horseback riding on the beach.

The condo is located in Imperial Beach which is located at the southern end of the Silver Strand State Beach, just 8 miles south of Coronado. Coronado is located right across the bay from downtown San Diego. Most major attractions in San Diego (Zoo, Sea World, Balboa Park, Old Town, Seaport Village, Mexico) are all roughly a 20-minute drive from our condo.

Founded in June of 1887, the city takes its name from Imperial County, California, a desert climate 90 miles east. Farmers and land owners from the Imperial Valley came to the area in the late 1880s seeking cooler weather during summer months. In March of 1887, over 2,000 laborers descended upon nearby Coronado, California to construct the Hotel del Coronado, the largest resort in the world at the time. A large amount of the workers stayed in Imperial Beach and some would later make it their permanent homestead. The city would incorporate in 1956, operating its own Mayor-council government providing city fire department service and policing by the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. The condo is available for rentals of one month or longer.
