San Miguel II at the Oceanside Pier

In our unit, we have a fully equipped kitchen - capable of cooking up an entire Thanksgiving dinner with all the trimmings and serving it to your family of 6. We offer every day dishware and nicer dinnerware too. The kitchen is open and views the water as you prepare for the feast. There are 3 barstools for those who want to be in the thick of it... plus a table that seats 4-6, and we have a card table to expand the dining as needed. We have a wetbar in the Living Room, and a gas fireplace too. Seating has always been my thing... Our living room has a Lazy Boy couch - 2 arm chairs of low profile, one wicker chair with an ottoman and two other stacking wicker chairs with full backs. Everyone can gather 'round in relative comfort to watch a movie or just plain converse.
Our master suite has an Eastern King - double pillow top luxury firm Sealy Posturepedic bed set, plus a business center with a desk - HP all in one scanner/printer/fax and Ethernet connection for high speed ATT DSL - WIFI for those with proper wife computers. Everything you need to connect quietly and work - There's also a dressing area, walk-in closet and linen pantry. It is a very lovely master suite, and like the other bedroom it backs up to the interior of the quad area - which is quiet and private too. No Street noise here, however you can hear the distant train whistle as we are just 4 blocks from the Amtrak station. We offer AC in our bedrooms by means of a stand alone portabe AC unit which vents through the window. This is an efficient set up that provides a nice cold sleeping environment for each bedroom.
The second bedroom is furnished with a new queen Spring Air double pillow top bed, small dresser, Wall mounted TV, clock and phone - plus closet, a small and efficient room. There are two full bathrooms - with tub and shower, one in the hall and one in the master suite.
There is also a stackset Washer/Dryer in the hallway (2002 New) and both a front and back balcony. We offer our private electric George Forman BBQ on the rear which faces the ocean, and of course we have 4 plastic stacking deck chairs and 2 small plastic tables. Bbq's are no longer permitted on the front deck per HOA rules. Nightly entertainment is avail from one of 3 TV's all hooked to cable - or watch a VCR/DVD Movie from our video library that numbers in excess of 40 tapes. Everything from Wee Sing to the Matrix. We have a (2003 New) CD/FM/AM Stereo set with a large selection of both cassette and CD's to choose from. There are also games, books, puzzles and more.
Our unit is in a gated complex of 72 units that sits Oceanfront. We have underground gated parking spaces which are specific to our unit. Street parking is metered - however free parking is available at the harbor nearby. We limit our guests to 1 space unless additional parking fee is paid.
There are no pets and no smoking allowed in our unit at any time. Maximum occupancy is 6 persons overnight per HOA rules and regulations. All guests must be registered with the us and the HOA.
We offer our unit for 30 day minimum periods of rental.. Our guests must register for a full calendar month period whether they stay all 30 days or not. Should you book and stay less than 30 days - no one else will occupy the unit - and no subletting will be permitted. We will allow stays of as little as 14 nights at 75% of the monthly published rates during low season. We hope to be your hosts. If you are seeking something for just a few days or a week.. Our family had a terrific time in your condo (June '03). We felt so comfortable there - just like home, but with a fabulous ocean view! We loved watching all the surfers from the condo and the beach. It was so nice to be able to relax in a clean, quiet, well-maintained home and complex. The beds were comfortable, kitchen well-equiped, and having 2 bathrooms for the four of us was great. We felt very safe there and enjoyed those we met at San Miguel. The property is exactly what we were looking for: it's on the beach, close to the pier, in walking distance to shops, restaurants, etc. We also used the hot tub daily after time at the beach. Having teen-age girls, we made a few trips to the Carlsbad Outlet Mall which is quite close - definitely a plus in our girls' book! We weren't ready to leave and would like to stay longer next time. Thanks for providing so much information to make our stay easy and fun. We will gladly recommend your condo to others!
