Los Angeles Events and Activities
Certainly one of the most popular attractions in the Los Angeles area is Disneyland. Whether you are traveling with adults or children, Disneyland offers plenty of fun and entertainment regardless of age. It's the kind of place where people of all ages can pretend they are kids again.
Catalina Island may be in Los Angeles County but it could just as easily be located in the Mediterranean. Things on Catalina Island are definitely different than in other parts of Los Angeles: fish fly and people drive golf carts instead of cars. The island is the perfect place to just lay back and relax.
The Malibu Coastline is a wonderful place to take a drive. The beaches run from east to west and make for not only great surfing but also just relaxing along the shore. The view in this area is absolutely exquisite.
Six Flags Magic Mountain is full of roller coasters including Goliath that begins with a drop of 255 feet into a dark tunnel while going 85 miles per hour. There is also Tatsu and Riddler's Revenge. Unfortunately all of the fun begins with standing in line for a long time, but it will certainly be worth the experience.
You certainly don't want to visit Los Angeles without including Hollywood in your itinerary. Of course, most of the hype focuses on Highland Boulevard where you will see the Walk of Fame—if you're there at the right moment you may even be able to see a star ceremony or movie premiere in motion.
Universal Studios is another place you don't want to miss. While more of a theme park than a real studio, you can certainly relax and enjoy both during your vacation in Los Angeles.
Heading to Los Angeles
If you really want to see Los Angeles you will probably need a few months—that's how much there is to do. However, book your vacation home by owner in order to have the most time and cash savings to enjoy the city and county attractions.
