every time we go back to this area we fall in love with it even more. At times it's like our own beach. We love kayaking in the estuary and hiking / running the trails around the beach, it's a wild wild life preserve that is to dyr for with all the wild bird habitats. I have never seen such amazing sunsets along the beach with the dolphins jumping high and in sync with others dolphins. This is a must for having it all , private beach out your front door and the city life around the corner if need be, not to mention amazing restraunts and very friendly people. We rode horses within a 10 min drive on the beach and swam them across the river mouth and rode right to our beach front condo that we rented! Breathtaking:-)) Brian Palmedei

Our family felt that this area was the best kept secret! It was crystal clear the water and the skies were so much bluer than when we stayed north of here up the coast- Lajolla and Del Mar. We were quit surprised how great the shopping was and amazing restraunts. The unit was fabulous, great mattresse to boot and the sound of the ocean was so therapeutic our kids actually fought less with one another. It was a blessing that we could be on the bottom floor and the parking right next to the unit. How conveniant when you have 3 kids and an elderly and shelping all their toys down to the beach was effortless.It made it so convienant. You feel like it's your own private home , since you have a corner unit and he 2 private patios off of the master and living room. We loved watching the surfers and it's a good thing the rocks are in front or those surfers would be riding the waves into the living room. Our kids can't stop telling their friends how much they love Ca. and we let them know if their grades are good and they behave we will come back to their favorite beach vacation, and this time learn how to Surf! This will be our 7th stay and this time it's for 3 weeks!Were counting Down!
