Vacation Rental Home Description
Enjoy a retreat at our beautiful 1700 square foot log home built on a hillside on 25 acres of secluded wooded areas in the Ozarks, a short 10 minute walk to the Little Buffalo River in Newton County, Arkansas. Log home includes (2) large covered porches, (3) bedrooms sleeps 8 comfortably with room for up to 10 people, 2½ baths, fully equipped kitchen, living room and gas grill, fax machine, wireless internet, satellite TV, CD player, DVD-VCR, comfortable year-round with heat and air-conditioning.
Truly away from it all with no stoplights, commercial development, subdivisions, chain stores or sirens for 6 miles in any direction, yet only 30 minutes drive on a scenic country road to nearby Jasper’s homey cafes, antiques stores, supermarket and rock shops.
You may be content to explore the 25 acres of woods and vistas on our property, but lots of recreational activities are available within a 30 minute drive, including canoe rentals on the scenic Buffalo National River, Horseback riding, the hiker-friendly 5 miles of trails on Round Top Mountain outside of Jasper that includes a 200 acre park and over 80 kinds of wildflowers and exploring the Ozark National Forest and Beckham Creek Cave. The Ozark National Forest boundary is a short drive from the cabin. There are rocks and bluffs and wildflowers all around the cabin.

The cabin was absolutely beautiful! It is a nice get-away if you want to hole up someplace in the the beautiful Ozark foothills! It is well-kept, has easy to follow trails, and had a very serene energy to it. Despite that the road terrain to the cabin was rough and narrow... we were able to navigate through it. My friends and I had a wonderful time in this cabin.

We spent Labor Day weekend there with our friends from Ft. Worth, TX.
Amazing time! Just what we needed!
The cabin was beautiful and very accomodating.
My 4 year old loved to play hide-and-go-seek and my 6 month old had her 1st kitchen sink bath there.
It was very memorable and we plan to return.
