Description

This farmhouse is on an incredible piece of property that's been in my family for 30+ years. This 136 acre family owned farm consisting of only 4 residences total, the farm house being one of those. My husband and I lived in this farm house for 10 years and had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to build our dream house when our son came along.
The house is 1300 sq. ft. of one level living (upstairs is attic). On the front of the house there is a covered front deck with one incredible view, more character than just tree tops to look at for sure. There are as well 2 rocking chairs, 4 person hot tub and gas grill on the front deck. There is a queen-size pillow-top Kindgdown mattress on each bed, 2 bedrooms, with 1 bath off the foyer, which separates the two rooms. The living room has a sleeper sofa, 2 recliners, satellite TV and DVD/VCR/CD player. You'll end up entering the house into the huge "country-size" kitchen with bar seating at the center island. Dining room is to the side of the kitchen and has wonderful views from it as well.
Only 8.7 miles from the Asheville City Limits via in-town roads - be in the middle of Asheville or downtown in 15 minutes - and 5.7 miles from I-40 - be at most any major attraction in 30 minutes like the Biltmore Estate.
There are memories to be had "aplenty" here at this old homested. It's been producing them for many 'a family for almost 100 years. It's sure to give your family some great mountain memories! |

| Paved parking for 2 vehicles, but lots of grassy areas for anything else guests may be towing. Back yard is a great area for kids to play. Being outdoors sitting in the rocking chairs or hot tub on the front deck is a big part of what Newfound Farmhouse is all about!
