Vacation Rental Description
Spectacular ocean view, close enough to hear the
crashing of the waves! If this is want you want, you'll
love this beautiful top floor condo located in Leisure
Mar, a six story building on quiet El Mar Drive within
walking distance of the center of Lauderdale By The
Sea.
This unit boasts ocean views from the living room,
dining room, kitchen and master bedroom. The living
and dining rooms are tastefully furnished with designer
furniture and accessories, and the eat-in kitchen,
which opens into the dining room, is fully equipped.
The spacious master bedroom has floor to ceiling
windows that afford a sweeping view of the ocean, and
the large balcony has plenty of room for relaxing,
dining, and enjoying the view. The guest bedroom is
located at the opposite end of the condo from the
master bedroom, and with its own bath, it will afford
you and your guests a maximum of privacy.
The pool area, with its comfortable lounge chairs, is a
great spot either for sunning or for sitting under the
shade of the Tiki Hut, all within view of the Atlantic.
There is easy access onto the beach, only steps away,
through a gate in the pool area, and the clubhouse
affords you a spot to read, play ping pong, exercise or
eat a picnic lunch..
This condo has the advantage of being in Lauderdale-
by-the-Sea, a peaceful, seaside village nestled between
Fort Lauderdale and Pompano Beach on the Intracoastal
Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean. Pelican Square, the
center of this lovely community, is only a short walk
down the street. At the water's edge, it is a place where
you can enjoy sitting under the palm trees, dining in
one of the fine restaurants, shopping in the many
boutiques, or listening to Jazz On The Square on Friday
evenings. The town has been transformed in recent
years with the addition of wide brick sidewalks, street
lamps and lush landscaping. Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
even has a living reef about 100 yards from shore, a
great spot for snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing,
swimming and surfing, and its fishing pier stretches
out into the Atlantic. Golf courses are only a few miles
away and the airport is no more than a 10 mile ride.
Located conveniently near all major highways, it's an
easy ride either north toward West Palm or south to
Miami. This lovely community is really a hidden gem!
