Description

Escape to the beach to our Lupine beachfront home. Located directly on the beach in Blue Mountain Beach, Florida this home furnished with attention to every detail will surely charm you. It is named for the blue lupine plant, which lives in the dune scrub along Florida's Emerald Coast. Its fuzzy blue leaves and purplish blue flowers that look like tiny sweet peas are perhaps what gave Blue Mountain its unusual name. (The mountain part is perhaps because of the height - 345 feet above sea level at its highest point.) Our Lupine home rests high overlooking the white sand beach and beautiful Gulf waters.
While staying at the Lupine home you will delight in the breathtaking views from the wrap around porch. Enjoy the beach even more with complimentary beach service during the summer season when you rent this wonderful home.
Our 5 Bedrooms/ 5.5 Baths occupy a spacious 4,711 Square Feet. It can sleep up to 12 with the following bed sizes. On the first floor, the master bedroom has a king bed, the 2nd bedroom has a Queen and the 3rd bedroom has twin/full bunk beds & a twin bed. The second floor has the 4th bedroom with a queen bed. The 3rd floor has the 5th bedroom, which is a loft and has (2) full beds. We have 6 TVs, 2 of which are Flat Screen, 5 DVD players, wireless internet service and so much more.
We have a charming mix of old world feel with the porches and claw foot tub, but all the modern upscale details you would expect form a luxury vacation beach home.
Lupine is located off of 30-A in the Beaches of South Walton Area. A 17 mile biking and walking trail is located just outside of the Lupine Village gate. If you didn’t have room for everyone’s bicycle don’t worry. Big Daddy’s rents bicycles as well as a full line of ocean kayaks, surfboards and beach gear. They also have complimentary delivery. The scenic views of 30-A are best enjoyed when taking a bike ride.
30-A has a vast number of restaurants that you most certainly will not find back home.
One of the closest restaurants to Lupine is Blue Orleans. This restaurant is walking distance away & serves breakfast, lunch & dinner. This cozy little restaurant has about 8 tables and serves up New Orleans Cuisine. They often offer live entertainment so make sure you give them a call when you arrive to check out their entertainment schedule.
The restaurants & shopping of Seaside, Florida are just a short drive away from Lupine.
I almost forgot to mention the Red Bar in Grayton Beach, a must visit for visitors & local alike. This quaint restaurant has the daily features written on a chalk board that is shared by all of the servers. Don’t forget your cash though, No credit cards accepted!
While staying at Lupine you will be walking distance to the Redfish Village. Here you will find Planet Smoothie, Seerings Piano Café & PJ’s coffee to name a few of the merchants.
If you decide to escape all of the wonderful tranquility of 30-A and the Baeces of South Walton, visit Destin only a fewmiels to the west. Great shopping is had at the Silver Sands Factory Stores, the Destin Commons outdoor mall, Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin and Grande Boulevard.
The dining is incredible, too.
For amusement and activities, visit the Track Amusement Center in Destin as well as the popular Big Kahuna’s Water Park.
Destin,Florida is known as the ”World’s Luckiest Fishing Village,” & boasts being home to the largest fishing vessel fleet in the state of Florida. Fish from the beach or boat. If you do not want to bring your boat, one of Destin’s many charter boats would love the opportunity to take you out for full or half day excursions. Water surrounds Destin with the intercoastal waterway to the north and Gulf on the south, creating an abundance of water sports available, including kayaking, wave running, parasailing, kite surfing, snorkeling and so much more!
