Description
|
Unique situation between the Sierra and Ocean within the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, close to Lisbon and the international airport, between the cosmopolitan Cascais and the historical Sintra recognised by UNESCO as World Heritage Site.
The gardens and the farm are on a valley of luxuriant subtropical vegetation, encircled by hills, giving a Mediterranean microclimate with the cooler air of the Atlantic coast; the small river Touro runs down the valley to the nearby sea.
The landscape features thousands of lime trees and other fruit trees, pines and other trees native to the area. Almost all sports nearby.
At the Farm (Quinta), one can feel a very cosmopolitan environment, yet preserving the Portuguese trace and atmosphere.
