Scottsdale Ranch Park is a 42-acre park located in a multigenerational area that also includes the Via Linda Senior Center, Scottsdale Ranch Park Desert Garden, Laguna Elementary School, and the Piper Branch of the Boys and Girls Club. Amenities are a tennis center with 12 lighted tennis courts, 4 lighted racquetball courts, 1 lighted squash court, 6 lighted sand volleyball courts, 1 lighted full basketball court and 2 lighted half basketball courts, 2 lighted baseball fields (4 including the 2 baseball fields at Laguna Elementary School), 6 reservable picnic ramadas and a 12-station exercise course. Also on the grounds area is a Garden Desert Park which has three zones: a hummingbird nest for the low desert area, a saguaro sanctuary for the high desert area, and a butterfly garden for the riparian
community area. It is free and open to the public.
