Awesome! 150 feet of quiet, private sand beach in Traverse City on Bass Lake. No steps - water is just 20 feet away from this beautifully furnished home - nothing to climb down, no roads to cross - sparkling clear water is right outside your door. Every room has a gorgeous lake view.
Lakeside delight is a 1750 square foot modern home with central air, a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, laundry room, all new furnishings, high speed internet, 6 cable TV's, DVD's, VCR's, telephones, a children's video library and lots of bestsellers to read. The guest house has been converted to a sparkling new game room - perfect for separating the generations since it's just across the deck but allows for evening activities when others may be sleeping in the big house. The new game room also has a wall of glass facing the lake.
350 acre Bass Lake is an all sports lake - you can bring your own boat or borrow either of ours - the pontoon pictured or a fast bass boat - at a low additional cost. Fishing is great even right off the dock. Three full lakefront lots assure privacy and the dead end private road means no traffic noise - but you're still just 5 miles from all the action of Traverse City - malls, 24 hr casinos, golfing and every kind of fun outdoor activity you can imagine.
There's a gas grill and dining furniture on the sunny lakeside deck and a charcoal grill and picnic table in the big side yard. On the beach is a big wood swing to watch unbelievable sunsets from and a nice firepit with free firewood. A canoe and two inflatable canvas single person pontoons are parked on the beach for your use. There's plenty of deck chairs, loungers and tables everywhere. All linens except beach towels are provided, plus an initial supply of paper and soap products.
If you have a family member that can't do steps, Lakeside Delight is truly a vacation paradise for them. They can be totally on their own - from the kitchen to the bedroom to the bathroom to the outside deck chairs to the sandy beach and into the water - no climbing involved.
Dogs are welcome with just a few restrictions, and at NO extra charge. Smoking is allowed but outside only. There's lots of parking for boat trailers and vehicles right in the yard.
Best of all - the whole compound is just for you and your family - no close neighbors, no traffic noise - it's so relaxing you won't want to leave. |
