Visit beautiful Atlantic Beach, which is a wonderful location for day trips. Just 1/2 hr. north is Amelia Island and 1/2 hr. south is historic St. Augustine.
Besides the more than 50 miles of white-sand beaches, you'll find a variety of shopping areas along A1A, which winds its way down the beaches, from Mayport, Jacksonville Beach, Neptune Beach, Ponte Vedra Beach, etc. The attractions, restaurants, and boutiques that fill these coastal areas provide an enjoyable recess from the surf and sand.
When you come home to Seaplace, you come home to resort-style living: Sailing, swimming, beachcombing, sunning and casting in the surf for flounder, trout, snapper and mullet. Among your neighbors are sandpipers, seagulls, pelicans and an occasional porpoise.
