Ohana Hale is located on Ali’i Drive, which is the road which runs along the Blue Pacific of the coast in Kona. There is beach access directly across the street. It is a popular area for fishing. In the late afternoon, the Hawaiian Honu (turtle) can be seen feeding on the shoreline rocks.

Ohana Hale is approximately 2 miles to Kona Town. Kona town has the resort amenities for your vacation, yet, is quiet and quaint enough so you can relax. You will NOT find row after row of night clubs. You will find Shoreline, eateries, shops and historical points of interest which wind along the Kona Coast. Have a drink as the sun sets, and then dine in the warmth of the evening.

Ohana Hale (Family House), was designed with the family in mind, although it works well for other arrangements too. The tropical decor of the central living/sleeping area is based on the concept of Hawaiian family life. The large kitchen opens to a great bedroom, much like a hotel room With a tv in it. And theres the family room which we have a little desk for your laptop beautiful decor and unlimited internet.2 chairs and a couch for you to relax on and watch tv or talk about your adventures you had during the day. Also I would like to point out Alii marketplace a place for shopping and dinning at the deli.

The Big Island is the youngest in the chain of Hawaiian Islands. A driving trip around the Island will take you to natural sites not seen anywhere else. The Big Hawaii is rich in culture and beauty. We have waterfalls cascading into pools nestled amidst the natural rain forest. Mauna Kea is the highest point in the United States. There is skiing in the winter (Hawaii, winter?)! It is also home to Mauna Kea observatory, where there are tours and other educational shows. South Point, the southern most point of the United States neighbor to Green Sands Beach (put on your hiking boots!). Don’t forget to walk the crater at Volcano National Parks. Or just walk down the street and snorkel at Kahalu’u beach in the turtle sanctuary. This and much more!

If you are inclined to spending your money, you can parasail, or spending the day fishing on one of the many fishing boats. There are helicopter tours, ATV riding into Waipio Valley, horseback riding or hiking tours. You can kayak or shop at the farmers market or spend the day or week golfing.
