This is a large country home sitting right on Deerfield Lake. There is a private dock and a rowboat and paddleboat for your enjoyment as our guests. This home features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and accommodations for up to eight guests.
The main level features well-equipped country kitchen, a living room featuring a large fireplace, a dining area, and an overly large deck that overlooks a spacious and well-groomed grassy front yard leading to the lake and your own private dock. Out on the deck, enjoy grilling up dinner on the barbecue from one of the many local farm merchants as you take in the beautiful Pocono Mountains foliage. Step through the sliding glass doors onto the stone patio, and relax in the oversize outdoor jacuzzi hot tub, taking in that fresh country air of the Pocono Mountains and spectacular lake and foliage views.
Enjoy this beautiful home and experience all that the Hideout and the Poconos have to offer. The Hideout amenities include our own private golf course, six lakes, two pools, beaches, downhill skiing and showboarding, cross-country skiing, a ski lodge, parks, playgrounds, indoor and outdoor tennis, fishing, boating, hiking, indoor and outdoor basketball, softball, bocci, shuffleboard, horseshoes, sledding, ice skating, miniature golf, handball, beach volleyball, a pavilion, campgrounds, rowboats and paddleboats, swim lessons, golf lessons, a clubhouse, game room, gourmet restaurant, pub, arts and crafts center, a lending library, woodworker's shop, a gym, and a fitness center. We're just ten minutes from Lake Wallenpaupack, where you can rent jet-skis, powerboats, and other types of watercraft, five minutes from a zoo, driving range, paintball, horseback riding, antique shops, and nature areas the Poconos are known for, including state game lands. We're only one-half hour from several major ski areas, including Montage Mountain, Elk Mountain, Shawnee, Big Bear, and Tanglewood, where you can go skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, museums, cultural centers, theaters, cinemas, Mockatek Speedway, a spa, several Poconos golf courses, water parks, malls, white-water rafting, Pocono outlet shopping at The Crossings, and historic sight-seeing tours. And it's only five minutes to the best ribs anywhere.
