Makaha surfing beach is famous for its powerful surf in the Winter, and hosts the Annual Buffalo's Big Board Surfing Classic, which is held at Makaha Surfing Beach every year during the first and second weekends of March, Athletes from all over the world compete in long board, body board, bully board, Paipo board, four-man outrigger canoe surfing, tandem surfing, and body surfing. All this fabulous action takes place right in front of you, literally just a stone's throw away from your lanai! |
