This secluded 3 Bedroom cedar cabin is on 44 acres of private mountain property, located only 1:15 from Charlote,and only 45 minutes from Asheville! It is also near South Mountain State Park and it's many activities.
The cabin is perched on top of a mountain ridge, which provides stunning mountain views from each room in this custom cabin. Sunrise is particularly spectacular as you awake each morning with the sun rising over the South Mountains.
The cabin is complete with 3 private bedrooms (2 with Queen beds and 1 with 2 twin beds), one bedroom on each floor for complete privacy. The master-bedroom on the main floor has a pass-through fireplace, which it shares with the living room. In addition to the bedrooms, there are pull-out futon couches in a second floor loft and in the living room.
The living room offers 25 foot ceilings, windows that run floor-to-ceiling, and a large stone fireplace. It flows seamlessly into a kitchen that is fully equipped and has all modern conveniences. There is a full-bathroom on each floor and the bath in the walk-out basement has a washer/dryer. Hardwood floors provide a rustic warmth to the cabin.
Outdoor provisions include a deck that wraps around the entire back side of the cabin, a screened-in porch, patio, gas grill, fire-pit, and several miles of hiking trails.
Couples and families will find this a perfect mountain get-away. Hike the several miles of private trails that take you from the cabin, through the woods, to a babbling mountain stream, all located on the property. Within a stone's throw of the cabin is a fire-pit, perfect for an evening bonfire and roasting marshmallows. Play a game of ping-pong in the rec room, or a board or card game on the screened-in porch. Or, simply read a book and relax on the spacious deck with breathtaking views.
