Escape from the crowds and reserve a week at this beautiful Dauphin Island home! Your family will enjoy the private residential community, beautiful beach, and community pool, tennis courts, and playground. If you're looking for a quiet place to unwind, this is it!
The home is perfect for family groups. The first floor (on the ground level - no stairs to climb) has a bedroom with a queen sized bed which opens onto a rear covered porch. A bath with a large shower is conveniently located on this level, and an adorable bunk room is a perfect place for the kids. The gameroom on this level has beautiful sea-green stained concrete floors, and an artistic seascape mural adds to the relaxing state of this area. There is also a snack kitchen with refridgerator... perfect for food prep for the outside bbq area!
The main floor has 4 bedrooms. A gracious bedroom with a queen sized bed has direct bath access, and the master bedroom with a king sized bed has porch access, and a bath with a spa shower and separate tub. Two more bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with bunks, provide comfortable sleeping space for all!
The kitchen has it all... views of the gulf, a ice maker, a double oven range, microwave, and all appliances and cooking utensils. The vaulted ceiling great room overlooks both the nearby golf course and has beautiful gulf views as well. Beautiful travertine-style ceramic floors and custom cabinets add to the relaxed but elegant feel of this home. This Dauphin Island home has it all!

There is a lot to do on Dauphin Island! Visit the Dauphin Island SeaLab and Estuarium, Fort Gaines (a historic civil war fort), and beautiful nearby Bellingrath Gardens. The whole island is a bird sanctuary, and especially during the Spring and Fall you can see many different types of birds on their migratory trips. Charter Fishing is great... you can charter boats for both fishing and sightseeing... take a boat ride out to see the historic Sand Island Lighthouse. You can also take a car ferry ride across Mobile Bay to visit the Gulf Shores area... water parks, outlet malls, etc. There are several seafood restaurants on the island, as well as a chocolate shop, bakery, and ice cream shop! You can ride bikes on the bike trails which cover most of the island! We are only a short Drive from Mobile, Alabama, where you can visit many area museums such as the Exploreum Children's Museum or our brand new Mobile Museum of Art. In season, enjoy a Bay Bears baseball game, or even Mardi Gras! Mobile has wonderful family-oriented Mardi Gras celebration. |
