This Log home sits on the bank of the Yellowstone River, centrally located in Paradise Valley, Montana, one of the truly great places on earth. The "Riverhouse" is a spacious 2700 sq.ft. hand built log home with two levels and two separate sleeping lofts, ideal for two families or couples. The home comfortably sleeps 7 persons with two seperated sleeping lofts and one additional full-sized sofa sleeper in a river-view room. The Kitchen is fully equipped. Just bring your groceries. Other amenties include a nice dining area, satellite TV/VCR, full laundry, and a beautiful “River room" for relaxation, and of course a gas barbeque on the "best deck in the valley". The home sits on Eight river-front acres off a country road. River access is very user friendly for walks, wade-fishing and swimming. You can safely launch a drift boat from this property. This home was designed and built by the Atwood family for vacation retreats complete with antique and western furnishings that add to the ambiance and memories of a vacation in Montana.
Historic Livingston, MT is 27 miles to the North and Gardner, MT; host to Yellowstone’s North entrance is a scenic 30-minute drive through Yankee Jim Canyon to the South. Historic Chico Hot Springs is 15 minutes away for world class dinning, relaxing in hot spring pools, lively western entertainment or just a rack of ribs at the saloon. The world famous Paradise Valley Spring Creeks are just 20 minutes away.
