Garden lovers will especially enjoy this sheltered cottage, with hillside of daffodils and rhododendrons, and an enclosed garden with 33 varieties of annuals and perennials, including fuchsias that attracts Allens and Annas hummingbirds. A great sunny place for that second cup of morning coffee.
Withywindle is just a few minutes walk from Russian Gulch State Park, an overlooked treasure of the North Coast with wildflowers, views of Mendocino Village and a blowhole. It’s just 5 minutes drive north to Jughandle State Park where there is excellent hiking on the headland and up the ecological staircase to the Pygmy Forest. And it’s only a few minutes more to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Garden.
