Description

Ritz Carlton in the woods. Start the day by taking your coffee down to the dock to watch the mist rising over Blue Ridge Lake or sleep late in your pillow-top bed piled high with soft cotton sheets, cozy quilts and down comforters. End the day in the steaming hot tub or watching the sunset over the lake from the wide screened porch that may become your outdoor living room and dining room while you’re here. Three bedrooms with queen beds sleep six adults. One bedroom with two twins and a trundle sleeps up to three kids, and four sleeping-porch cots can be pulled out of the basement for kids who want to sleep in the fresh mountain air. Three and a half baths. Great room with gas-start fireplace and Dish TV/DVD. An extra sitting room with TV/DVD downstairs and a study in the loft upstairs give everyone plenty of room to spread out. On a quiet finger of Lake Blue Ridge, surrounded by National Forest. Hiking trails, mountain biking, tubing, canoeing and rafting are all nearby at the Aska Adventure Area. White-water rafting, fly fishing and horseback riding a short drive away. Antique shopping, train rides and fantastic restaurants just across the lake in the town of Blue Ridge. Bring your own boat, rent one, or borrow our kayak. Gas grill. Washer/dryer. Garage. High chair and other baby equipment available. Dock shared with three other houses. Same goes for gazebo. Flawlessly housebroken dogs welcome, but not on the furniture, please.
