Description
|
Many exclaim that we are the most beautiful farm on Orcas Island. The farm gardens go on forever. Stroll the grounds and discover endless wisteria trailing brick walls and picket fencing. Follow the parade of color into a secret garden. Marvel at the delicious grape and kiwi arbors, raspberry, tayberry, gooseberry vines, asparagas and artichokes, lavendar and rose gardens, dahlia & gladiola beds. Let us cut flowers for your room: tulips, daffodils, gladiolas, zinnia, cattails, peones & more. Enjoy the animals too. Alpacas, llamas, horses, goats are peacefully grazing in the pastures. Chickens will delight you with their playful antics and their gift of many colorful fresh eggs each day.
There are quite a few lodging choices on our farm. If you have a large group, you will want the 5 bedroom farmhouse. We also have this home set up so you can rent just the top 3 bedroom level, or only the bottom 2 bedroom unit. Both levels have kitchens and private entrances. Both are fully equipped private homes that will make you feel as if you stepped into your own country farm home.
They each have a large living room & family room gathering space too.
If you are a couple or a small family with just 1-2 children, you will be comfortable in one of the Carriage House units. Kitchens are included in most units. The Main Lodge has 3 more bedrooms, perfect for couples and overflow guests that are part of large family gatherings. ALL our bedrooms have the MOST comfortable pillow top queen beds.
For guests with pets, we do have two dog-friendly units. Please let us know if you are traveling with your pet family member and we will set you up with everything you need to make your stay "dog fun and easy" too.
If you like to play outdoors, you are going to love our island. There is biking, kayaking, whale & wildlife observations, fishing, boating, horseback riding, hiking, swimming.
Enjoy art and collectible shopping, open market place, street parades and artist fairs, cafes, fine restaurants, live theater, musical performances, and so much more!
You will just have to come to our island and see what all the excitement is about. Orcas Island has it ALL!! Experience the Northwest. Experience the "individualist" in us all! Experience the individualist in "YOU!"
