Very charming, quiet, and cozy. Just a few feet from great seasonal salmon fishing in the very under fished Smith River which is a tributary to the Umpqua, not far from Winchester Bay Oregon. However, this is not just for fishermen and fisherwomen. It's close to the beaches but off the beaten path, just 5 miles from the coast Highway 101. Twenty miles from Florence Oregon, less than that from the huge sand dunes and many lakes that are great for fishing. Clamming and crabbing to your liking? All of that and more are very convenient. You might even be able to talk us out of a crab cage or two. There are games to make everyone smile. Plenty of parking for dune buggies and bikes as well.
