On Golden Pond is located in a peacful, private village with breathtaking mountain and lake view. Our charming home is nestled among a forest of dogwood & chestnut trees providing relaxing seclusion. The Spring water hot tub provides an excellent conclusion to a day full of activities or the beginning to a romantic evening at home. Whether you enjoy the swing on the lower level, the rocking chairs on the upper balcony or the outdoor camp fire pit, you are sure to delight in a serene escape.

| Outside rockers, lower deck swing, out side family fire pit, Ironing board and iron, Lake is stock with bass and trout and our guess can fish without a license off the floating dock.

Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Fontana Lake, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherokee Indian Reservation, Smoky Mountain Railway, gem mining, casino gambling and hunting. Fly fishing, hiking, horseback riding, with or without guide, rafting a must and Canoeing.
Tasali Mountain Biking 40 miles 4 trails only 5 minutes down the road, rentals available Nantahala outdoor center... Tubing, also snow tubing. Joyes Kilmer Forrest hiking trail only virgin forrest in the United states and is about 20 minutes from our chalet. Golf with breathtaking views all close by. Fontana Dam only 10 miles south of our Chalet. You like a little blue grass, every friday night at Tooties just 3 miles south on the right local talent. |
