Our Venice Island Home comfortably accommodates a family of up to 6-
10, but it's also perfect for 2-3 couples to share, or as a romantic and extra spacious getaway for two. We are happy to say that most of our guests are "repeats." Unique feature - guests can also rent a very similar 3 bedroom, 2 full bathroom home right next door in case you want to stay close to friends or family but still have your "own space." (perfect for girls getaways, guys golf trips, reunions, corporate retreats, wedding groups, extended family/friends.)
Location, location, location! For a little sunset watching and live
music, the home is a short walk to the very popular Sharky's ocean-
front bar & restaurant and Venice Pier for fantastic fishing. We
have a responsible local babysitter with very reasonable rates for
kids/grandkids. We are close to the island's public golf course &
tennis courts and short drive to five challenging public and semi-private golf courses. The home is a short 2 block walk to the beach and close to the historic town center filled with Northern Italian architecture, charming boutiques, antique stores and first-rate restaurants.
Venice is located in Southwest Florida, about ten miles south of
Sarasota along the shoreline of the Gulf of Mexico. Recently
featured in "Coastal Living" magazine as a "Mediterranean Mayberry," Venice Island offers a friendliness level and relaxed lifestyle beyond compare. We are just crazy about Venice - and consider it a "best kept secret" in vacation destinations. Visit once and you will be hooked on it's charm:).

This Venice Island home is newly furnished in a tropical style with primarily new furniture throughout. The home includes three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a well-equipped luxury kitchen, a
Florida Room overlooking private backyard, and beautifully decorated family room with two new queen-size sofa sleepers. The house sleeps up to 10. Two bedrooms have king-size beds, the third bedroom has
two twin beds. The home has two full bathrooms with new cherry vanities - one with a bath/shower combination and the second bathroom is brand new with a larger, ceramic tile shower & double
vanities. The spacious backyard is much more private than a condo or apartment. Orange and grapefruit trees on property with juicer in kitchen!
Other amenities include: cable television - with free premium channels! (HBO etc.) - in all bedrooms and in the family room; DVD/VCR in the family room; extensive free movie library; growing book collection; barbecue grill; linen closet; washer/dryer; brand new dishwasher; brand new cook-top oven; disposal; refrigerator; microwave; ironing board and iron; board games; rolling beach cart, beach chairs, beach cooler; beach towels; & carry bag. one of the private islands in the area. When the sea air has calmed your soul, further pamper yourself with a massage or two followed by a gourmet dinner at one of the area's many restaurants. The Venice
Little Theatre is a wonderful place to see some of the area's finest performances at very affordable prices (around $22 per ticket). After the theatre, enjoy a delicious dessert at one of the many area reasonably priced restaurants, or visit one of many nightspots throughout the area that offers dancing or live entertainers.
There are many opportunities to relax with fourteen miles of Gulf of Mexico beachfront, five major public beaches, fine shelling, fossilized sharks' tooth hunting...besides sunning, swimming, boating, fishing, golf, tennis,kayaking, scuba diving, fantastic shopping along the historic Venice Avenue, first-rate restaurants,numerous outdoor festivals/special events; and more than
