The surroundings have a wide range of activities to offer from mountaineering at all levels, rock-climbing, hiking and bird watching. The area is also very popular for mountain biking and racer biking. The house will provide the visitors with maps of popular routes, and at least one mountain bike. Miraflores de la Sierra is a very nice holiday spot with plenty of bars, restaurants and cool chill-out places in the summer. Its a typical summer resort for the madrilènes who escape the hot summer and wants to enjoy the easygoing life of the mountains. In august the local festival is going on with plenty of activities for children as well for more mature visitors such as concerts, games and small amusement parks.
